Nadia has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Behavioral Science, a Master's degree in Human Services/Counseling from National-Louis University, and received training from the EMDR Institute.
Nadia is licensed by the State of Illinois as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. She has been certified by the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress as a Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress. She is a Level II trained EMDR therapist, receiving her training at the EMDR Institute.
Nadia has served as an adjunct instructor at National-Louis University, teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses in Human Services and Counseling. She has been a presenter for the Illinois Coalition Against Sexual Assault, training counselors on how to work with survivors of sexual assault and abuse. She has been a presenter for the Illinois Counseling Association and for the Illinois Mental Health Counseling Association, presenting on various mental health topics.
Nadia maintains a private practice in individual, marriage and family counseling in Rockford, Illinois, working with children, adolescents and adults.
